Grade EN AW-6026
Hardenable aluminium – magnesium – silicon alloy in pressed or drawn version according to DIN EN 515 / 573 / 755.
Typical applications for this material are decorative purposes, automotive and mechanical engineering, as well as the railway industry. Material EN AW 6026 has good machinability due to its lead content and is good for MIG and TIG welding. Contact with food should be avoided.
