Grade P215NL
The capital letter P stands for compressive stress, the NL indicates this material as a cold-tough grade. This fine-grained structural steel is characterised by comparatively high notched impact values even at low temperatures, so that it is typically used in applications with compressive stresses at low temperatures with rather low requirements. Good welding properties also make it possible to use it in welded constructions.
