Cold-work steel with good toughness and high tempering resistance according to DIN EN ISO 4957.
Used in many cases for highly wear-resistant tools, e.g. for punching and cutting, but also for drawing tools or dies for forging. Moulds can also be made for use with abrasive plastics. The commercially available version is annealed (+A).
