Grade 100Cr6
Trough – Hardening bearing steel, rolled in accordance with DIN EN ISO 683-17 annealed on spherical cementite (+AC, formerly GKZ annealed).
Often used in rolling bearings for balls, cones and rings that require the highest wear resistance. The +AC – annealed condition ensures machinability of the steel as delivered. Hardening and the associated adjustment of the wear resistance is usually carried out on the manufactured components.
