Material 1.4021
Stainless bar steel in rolled, forged or bright version in quenched and tempered condition (+QT800). The base standards are DIN EN 10088 and DIN EN 10250.
The martensitic material 1.4021 is characterised by moderate corrosion resistance and good polishability. Therefore, household items are just as typical areas of application as objects for decoration. The tempered finish ensures homogeneous properties defined in the relevant DIN standards. The associated increase in hardness and strength makes applications with medium stresses possible.
