Material 1.4057
Stainless bar steel in rolled, forged or bright version in quenched and tempered condition (+QT800). The standards are based on DIN EN 10088, DIN EN 10272 and DIN EN 10250.
The martensitic material 1.4057 is characterised by increased corrosion resistance due to the addition of nickel, as well as comparatively high strength values. Therefore, applications with higher stresses such as valves, pumps and shafts can also be implemented.
The tempered finish ensures homogeneous properties defined in the relevant DIN standards.
