Stainless, welded beverage line pipe according to DIN EN 10357, in annealed or non-heat-treated and ground or stained and passivated version (CC, CD or BC, BD) with round cross-section.
Material 1.4307 is one of the austenitic corrosion-resistant chromium-nickel steels (V2A). High corrosion resistance makes it possible to use it in contact with media such as food acids (e.g. lactic acid) or water, without the presence of significant amounts of chlorine or salt. Typical applications for these pipes are lines for transporting beverages, for example. A smoothed weld seam prevents food residues from sticking. Use at very low and also high temperatures is possible. Double certification with the comparable material 1.4301 often takes place.
