Material 1.4313
Stainless bar steel in rolled or forged version in quenched and tempered condition (+QT750), according to DIN EN 10088.
This soft-martensitic material is characterised by increased corrosion resistance which is achieved by adding nickel and molybdenum. Due to its low carbon content, high toughness values are available, which makes the typical use of 1.4313 possible, e.g. in power plant construction. Here a versatile use can be made, for example, for fittings, pumps and turbines. The quenched and tempered finish ensures homogeneous properties defined in the relevant DIN standards.
